Temperature Controller Brochure

The Temperature Controller continuously monitors the thermal conditions at the core of the MTM using a thermocouple sensor. Based on this feedback, it executes a closed-loop control strategy to regulate the heating elements of the barrel and auxiliary flash heaters, ensuring thermal stability at a predefined setpoint, typically around 250°C.

Single Line Controller Brochure

The Single Line Controller functions as a control interface for gas distribution pressure regulation. Using a potentiometer, it generates a proportional analog signal that is transmitted to the I/P (Current-to-Pressure) transducer of the Line Pressure Controller. This signal is converted into a pneumatic output that modulates the supply pressure for each individual line. When a Splitter is utilized, the controller ensures accurate and stable pressure distribution across the downstream lines, optimizing system performance.

Booster & Line Pressure Controller Brochure

The Booster and Line Pressure Controller is responsible for managing and activating the booster system. It incorporates two panel meters: the first continuously monitors the booster’s outlet pressure, while the second interfaces with a regulator through a potentiometer, enabling precise control of the gas output from the booster.

Splitter with Line Pressure Controller Brochure

The integrated SLC (Single Line Controller)– Splitter–LPC assembly controls and distributes highpressure process gases (N or supercritical CO) for gasassisted molding and foaminjection systems. The Single Line Controller sets a proportional pressure command that an I/P transducer converts into a pneumatic pilot signal. The Splitter receives the main highpressure supply and distributes it evenly across 2–4 lines, each with its own gauge and shutoff valve. Each Line Pressure Controller then performs fine regulation of pressure and flow using precision regulators and needle valves. Built with 316L stainless steel tubing and compatible seals, the system ensures stable pressure control, fast response, and consistent gas delivery to each injector, optimizing part quality and process repeatability.

MHP System with Interface Kit & Controllers.

The system is composed of several integrated subsystems. The primary component is the controller, which activates the booster unit to elevate the gas pressure. The pressurized gas is then routed to the interface kit, which operates under the control of the satellite module. The satellite regulates the interface kit based on the input signals received from the extruder through the Customer I/O.

Series S System with Interface Kit.

An SCF system integrates the boosterbox, controller, and control satellite into a single assembly, allowing operators to use the HMI to interface with both the interface kit and customer I/O. This unified setup enables precise metering and injection of supercritical gas into the extruder, improving process control and operational efficiency.

Mucell Transfer Mixer (MTM)

The MTM adapter is a specialized module for extrusion systems that enables the uniform injection and mixing of a supercritical fluid with the polymer melt. Using MuCell® technology, it ensures proper gas dissolution, stabilizes pressure and temperature, and enhances microcellular foaming. This leads to material savings, improved product quality, and reduced mechanical load on the extruder..
